The "Bagaram Das Gyanjyoti Educational Foundation" was established in the year 2021 with the objective of providing professional academic excellence and extending social welfare activities to all sections of society. The trust was registered under the registry of DC Kamrup (R) under the registration number RS/KAM(R)/264/J/05 focuses on Quality Education, Discipline, Integrated Personality Development, Research, and Management skill healing, to face global challenges.

The campus of "MIRZA INSTITUTE OF NURSING AND HEALTH SCIENCES" (A unit of Bagaram Das Gyanjyoti Educational Foundation) with its extensive landscape garden is widely one of the most beautiful places at Mirza in the district of Kamrup Rural. The place is located at a distance of 10 km only from Guwahati International Airport. They harmoniously combine building and open spaces. The institute prides itself on its facilities Inter mingle with the heritage protected building and state of the art teaching and research facilities, including, an advanced Laboratory with all modern amenities.

Mirza Institute of Nursing & Health Sciences was started in the year 2021 under the “Bagaram Das Gyanjyoti Educational Foundation" offering both B.Sc Nursing and GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) courses. We are recognized by Assam Nurses' Midwives' & Health Visitors' Council (ANC), and affiliated to Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, Assam.
